Application Terms

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing seedcast.ai, installing a Seedcast WordPress plugin, purchasing a subscription, or using Sower, you agree to these Application Terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of a church or organization, you're confirming you have the authority to do so, and "you" refers to that organization.

2. What Seedcast is

Seedcast is a suite of tools built for churches to capture and share the life of their ministry. The current lineup includes:

• Sermon Library (free) — a WordPress plugin for organizing and publishing sermons, series, and speakers. Free forever for a single church site.
• Sermon Library AI (paid subscription) — an add-on to Sermon Library that generates transcripts, articles, and study guides from sermon recordings, subject to a monthly generation allowance.
• Network (custom pricing) — multi-site management for ministries running more than one church site.
• Sunday / Living Bulletin, Praise Report, Sing, and other plugins (free or paid, as noted on their respective pages) — additional WordPress plugins covering other parts of church life.
• Sower (paid, standalone) — the AI content-generation engine behind Sermon Library AI, also available on its own as an API for building your own tools. Sower is not a WordPress plugin.

Free plugins remain free for the features described on their product pages. Paid products are billed as described in Section 4.

3. Accounts

Some features require a Seedcast account (for example, to manage a Sermon Library AI or Sower subscription). You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

• Paid products are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at checkout) through Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor.
• You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you'll retain access until then.
• We don't provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
• Prices are subject to change. We'll provide reasonable notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Seedcast to:

• Upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you don't have the right to use
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use Sower or Sermon Library AI to generate content at a volume or in a manner intended to abuse or circumvent generation limits
• Resell or redistribute access to Seedcast products without our written permission

6. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload or create using Seedcast, including sermon recordings, transcripts, photos, and any content generated on your behalf, including AI-generated content. We claim no ownership over your church's content. You grant us the limited right to process and store that content solely to provide the service to you.

7. AI-generated content

Sermon Library AI and Sower generate content (transcripts, articles, study guides, and similar material) based on recordings and material you provide. This content is organized from what you actually said, not independently authored by the AI. As with any AI-generated content, it may occasionally be imprecise. Nothing is published automatically: generated content is saved as a draft, and you're responsible for reviewing it before publishing. You remain responsible for what you ultimately publish under your church's name.

8. Google and YouTube integration

If you connect a YouTube account to Sermon Library, our use of the resulting Google user data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Google's API Services User Data Policy. You represent that you have the right to authorize access to the YouTube channel(s) you connect.

9. Intellectual property

Seedcast's software, branding, website, and documentation are owned by SiteHatchery, Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what's needed to use the products as intended.

10. Third-party services

Seedcast relies on third-party services (including Lemon Squeezy, Cloudflare, Google, and AI processing providers) to operate. Your use of Seedcast is also subject to the applicable terms of those providers where relevant.

11. Disclaimers

Seedcast is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be perfectly accurate. You're responsible for reviewing generated content before relying on or publishing it.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SiteHatchery, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Seedcast. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid product is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Seedcast products for violations of these terms. You may stop using our products, or cancel a paid subscription, at any time as described in Section 4.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
